His Majesty King Abdullah said on Tuesday he directed concerned authorities to conduct a study on the living conditions of ex-servicemen, with a view to improving their situation.

Expressing his understanding of the economic difficulties that veterans are struggling with, the King said at a meeting with a group of ex-servicemen that they have a role to play vis-à-vis national goals. His Majesty said he was determined to continue communicating with veterans to provide them with the needed support, including in job-searching, and to improve their living conditions. At the meeting, attended by the King’s adviser Amer Hadidi, the King listened to the demands of ex-servicemen.
