His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received an invitation letter from Tunisian President President Beji Caid Essebsi, delivered by Personal Representative of the President of Tunisia and Minister Lazhar Karoui Chebbi, to attend the 30th Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Summit Level, which will be held in Tunisia in March.

During the meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, King Abdullah asked Minister Chebbi to convey his greetings to President Essebsi, expressing his well wishes to the president and wishing the people of Tunisia further progress and prosperity.

Discussions at the meeting covered bilateral ties and the two countries’ keenness to strengthen cooperation and continue coordination on various issues of mutual concern.

His Majesty stressed Jordan's commitment to the success of the upcoming Arab Summit, in service of Arab causes and with the aim of activating joint Arab action and finding political solutions to regional crises.
