His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Saturday attended a military drill carried out by a joint special operations force.

At the beginning of the drill, the Crown Prince, accompanied by acting Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Maj. Gen Saber Mahayrah, was briefed on the maritime anti-terrorism training.

The exercise was carried out by a special unit from the 71^st Battalion and included raiding a coastal area and destroying a target by helicopters and fast roping, in addition to using diver teams and boats.

At the end of the training, the Crown Prince voiced satisfaction with the advanced level exhibited by the forces.
