His Majesty King Abdullah on Friday condemned the heinous terrorist attack that targeted a bus carrying Coptic Christians in Minya governorate, killing a number of innocent civilians and injuring others.

In a cable to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, King Abdullah expressed his condemnation of this cowardly act, and all acts perpetrated by the terrorist groups of khawarej, the outlaws of Islam, noting that they contradict the values of humanity and Abrahamic faiths.

His Majesty also said Jordan stands with Egypt in its efforts to fight terrorism, expressing his condolences to the families of the victims and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
