King departs on official visit to Netherlands
His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, departed on Monday on an official visit to the Netherlands, at the invitation of King Willem-Alexander.
During the visit, Their Majesties are scheduled to meet with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima.
King Abdullah is also due to hold talks with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, President of the Dutch Senate Ankie Broekers-Knol, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Khadija Arib.
In addition, His Majesty will meet with representatives of security and defence institutions, as well as a group of business leaders in the Netherlands.
The King will be the keynote speaker at a meeting with Dutch and international students participating in the World Class The Hague programme, organised by the City of The Hague in cooperation with a number of Dutch universities.
His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
