His Majesty King Abdullah arrived today at the UN Headquarters to head Jordan’s delegation at the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

King Abdullah is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly later today.

In the speech, His Majesty is scheduled to reaffirm the centrality of the Palestinian cause and Jerusalem, underlining that the two-state solution is the only way to achieve just and lasting peace in the region.

The King’s remarks will also focus on the importance of supporting UNRWA, intensifying international efforts to fight terrorism, and Jordan’s Syrian refugee burden.
