His Majesty King Abdullah met on Tuesday with Lafarge Chairman and CEO Bruno Lafont. At the meeting, projects by the Jordan Lafarge Cement Factories Company in Fuheis and Rashadieh were reviewed. King Abdullah commended the company's commitment to invest in Jordan and its role in creating jobs and providing training opportunities. King Abdullah also lauded the company's support for small- and medium-sized projects and local community development and environmental preservation. The French Lafarge company is a strategic partner in the Jordan Lafarge Cement Factories Company, holding 33 per cent stake in the company.
