Musallah Palace
Located in southern Shuneh in the Jordan Valley, Musallah Palace was a winter residence for the Founding King Abdullah I. It was famed as a meeting place for intellectuals, poets and opinion leaders.

The Palace was the place where His Majesty King Abdullah I saw off the Jordanian troops leaving for battle on 15 May 1948 to defend Palestine. He delivered a speech in the presence of Arab League Secretary General Abdul Rahman Azzam.
